This is a San Jose built (california). nbsp;C-code Mustang fastback featuring a 289ci V8. nbsp;C4 Automatic transmission and Power Steering. This Mustang is one of the rare opportunities to own an unmolested. factory. unmodified Mustang Fastback. There is LOTS of money that has been poured into the engine and drivetrain. The car has a great "muscle car" idle. and sounds EXACTLY the way a muscle car should with its great sounding dual exhaust. This is a very clean and solid Mustang that has spent much of its life if not all of its in the dry desert southwest of the USA prior to being imported to Australia.

Exterior:

 This Mustang looks great finished in its original colour of Wimbelton White sitting on a set of  Pony style wheels. All of the rubber seals are in great condition. The undercarriage of this car is nice and clean. The exterior is really set off by the great looking wheels and dual exhaust. All of the chrome on the car is in excellent shape as well!

Interior:

The classic Red interior of this mustang is in very nice condition. The front and rear seats are great shape. They are free of stains and tears. The carpet is in nice shape as well. The headliner and door trims are also great and finish the car beautifully. The dash pad is in excellent condition and free of cracks etc. . Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and is in great shape!

Engine and driveline:

The engine was rebuilt at the time of restoration and runs great. The C4 Automatic transmission shifts great through all the gears and is nice and smooth. The engine sounds very healthy with its "true" dual exhaust. The car runs nice and cool even when it resided in Arizona's hot and dry climate. The steering is nice and tight. This is a great driving and well sorted 1966 Mustang Fastback.

At Close of Auction

All successful winning bidders will need to sign a contract  for sale of  a used motor vehicle subject to the terms of condtions of the motor car traders act (VIC)  1986.

The successful "winning" bidder must telephone us within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction.

Full payment must be received within 7 business days of the end of auction. Payment must be either by bank cheque. cash (In-Person) or EFT funds. If funds are not received. and an alternate arrangement has not been made. the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come. first-serve basis.

The parties agree that this contract shall be construed under the substantive laws of the Motor car traders act (VIC) 1986 . that the state courts of Victoria shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action brought to enforce the terms of this contract or over any action arising out of the underlying transaction.

Our Guarantee

However. we recommend that all buyers conduct an inspection either in person or through a qualified professional third party inspector. Prior to delivery. if such inspection reveals a substantial discrepancy between the information contained in the listing and the actual vehicle. we will correct the problem at no charge or work out a compromise.
