MGA Roadster 1957 in VIC

Up for grabs is something you don't find every day. Here is a right hand drive 1957 MGA Roadster which will require a full restoration.  This is a very dry MGA with original floors!Make no mistake it needs a full restoration and does NOT run or drive. I will be adding the photos within the next 24 - 30 hours as soon as i get a chance to get up to where it is stored to take them as its raining heavily and i have to push it out of garage to get decent photos so bare with me. it will be worth it to the right person.
I don't need to remind everyone how rare these cars are in unrestored condition.  They very rarely come up for sale like thus or as a restoration project so don't miss out. I have personally not seen another unrestored for restoration right hand drive MGA come up for sale here in OZ for at least 10 years. most of the "A's" have been restored by now so this is a great opportunity to get a cheap MGA and do the work yourself.  
Car had been sitting for well over 30 years and therfore will require a full restoration. steering is stiff but works to get it on trailer.  This is not a car you can jump in and drive. it needs everything looked at and restored. All rubbers and bushes will need to be replaced and it does not run or drive. Previous owner said both the left and right sills panels were replaced in the very early 1980's while it was parked up so it won't need the sills done and it looks very sound structurally with very little rust in the main body structure. The last registration sticker on windscreen says 1975. Car looks like it is 98 % complete and what i can see missing is one bumper bar. two door strikers and maybe two or three other minor little bits or pieces i may have missed but all readily available on internet. It looks to have had some small bits removed at some stage and those parts are still with the car in a box. Comes with some new parts. a pair of new chrome bumper overiders. panel weather strips etc and some other spare parts. Engine turns freely. Gearbox and tailshaft turns. Diff turns. Very little rust for an unrestored MGA of this age. Was sored on a farm in an open sided barn for over 30 years so it does have surface rust on it and the paint has crazing and is lifting off in alot of places but from what i can see it only has a few areas of rust in a few of the hang on panels that will need reparing and the lower lip where the boot rubber goes is rusted and needs to be fixed. only the lower part of the boot rubber lip. the boot floor and rest of lip is very good with no signs of rust. Has a few paint jobs under whats left of the burgundy exterior paint so would need to be stripped back to bare metal. It had wood piled up around it to hide it and was covered in an inch of bull dust when i pulled it out of the farm shed but its still very straight and a very good body for a 1957. It has its original 1957 matching number 1500 engine and gearbox and all its original mechanical components. Original factory Deluxe sports seats. Steel disc wheels. Original floor. Very rare chance to aquire a MGA for restoration.  Reserve is low and it is priced to sell. Cash on pick up only.
