OK. what is it? 1939/40 Ford 2 door Sloper running a Mercury stroked Flathead. Engine reconditioned with new bearings. 0 thou over-sized pistons and rods. Offenhauser finned heads. New carby. ew water pumps. Gear box overhauled and is 3 on the tree. Clutch and selector linkages replaced. Center bearing in torque tube replaced. New shocks on rear and front [telescopic]brakes overhauled[Master cylinder. ines. hoes and drums]. Steering box overhauled. all joints replaced. ew steering wheel. Fuel tank flushed and sealed. re-wired from front to rear. Indicators added. Electric wipers. Instrument panel was burnt out. so fitted temp/fuel/oil/charge gauges. Has a split radiator. hence the 2 temp gauges. with thermo fan. This is an all steel car with a very solid chassis. lbeit. few dents and minor dings. Stainless exhaust system. All glass replaced. Wheels are 16"-205/60 R/16. new tires. FAULTS. Interior lights and radio not working. Crack in lower front screen. Rear passenger windows need adjustment for full function. Drives like a 40 Ford should. Plates come with car if sold in QLD. Car is on club rego. I have been up-front on this. so bid accordingly. Payment is by direct deposit or cash. no Pay Pal.
