1970 Chrysler Valiant Regal VG. 245 hemi 1 barrel automatic. very straight. close to no rust. couple tiny specs. original paint but flat. dash pad good. gauges good. near new tyres. runs and drives fine. has had brakes rebuilt. recored radiator. never gets hot. rebuilt alternator. has been a daily driver for many years. comes with original books. ------ this car has had 4 owners in the 43 years. ------ original owner 1970-1980. bought in adelaide second owner 1980-2010. country owner for all those years third owner 2010-2013. done some servicing and painted the rims red and put in the carpet etc fourth owner 2013-2013. had plans of a restoration but decided to go a different path ------ I see this car as an easy restoration or one that could be made a pacer clone or whatever. but currently drives quite fine. I recently drove it 400 km. just cruises along ------ the suspension I'd say is tired. it's a bit floaty. the engine runs fine and starts straight up. but it's got some timing chain noise. doesn't blow smoke though. transmission could do with a service. the kickdown is lazy. all depends what you want to do to the car I suppose. ------ previous owner put a ute bench seat in the front. but the car comes with the original regal bucket bench seat. which is in need of restoration and there if you want it.
