Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe 1980 Targa TOP 383 Stroker Muscle CAR in Sydney, NSW

Up for auction is my beloved Chevrolet Camaro 1980 Z 28 Coupe performance muscle car. I have just spent more than $13 K just on the motor and tunnel ram set-up. This performance rig is good for 500 hp. It has run barely 200 kms (if that). The tunnel ram set up was $3500 on its own. for the manifold. twin 750 double pumpers. fuel reg and set up. The motor is an exceptional 383 SBC (4 bolt block) stroker with the best of everything. including alloy heads. chrome starter. gilmer drives. etc. etc. etc. etc. If you know your stuff. then there's no reason to list everything. I have all of the box tags saved. You can also speak with the chap who built the engine - renowned for his work. This thing sounds like a beast and drives very nicely. The photos show bits like MSD ignition system. headers etc. High stall converter. B&M shifter. custom console with led inserts through speakers. The Momo carbon fibre insert steering wheel cost me $800. Detachable audio system. Sports seats (have original seats that will go with car). back seat in great condition. Glass Targa Tops. Lowered with huge centreline wheels. good tyres (almost new). New gas shocks up front. new air shocks at rear. Car has 6 months full NSW registration. I would rate this car in good condition. but certainly not a show car (hence the incredibly good price). If you view the last photo you will note that before I got the car. someone used the paint that was used to paint the car on the poly bumpers and nose cones - a no. no. This requires special high flex paint. The paint splintered on the bars and needs to be redone. The plastic is not cracked. just the paint is. The rest of the paint is good. I can't see any rust in the car - but I can't guarantee that a car this age won't have any. If it does. it is definitely not terminal and there doesn't seem to be any in the sills and/or rocker panels. I have brand new door rubbers and window felt runners to go with the car - I have never driven this car in the wet and so didn't bother with the seals. but they are there to go - over $800 worth. The car has just had an oil change and new plugs. Brakes are good. Electric windows work fine. Speedo doesn't work. but an easy fix. The cable was twisted by the chap who fitted the headers. I am selling this car for a very little more than what the engine and tunnel ram set up cost me and only because I have 5 kids. 3 of which are 11 or younger and I can't go cruising in this machine with my whole family. They love coming with me because everywhere we go. we get the thumbs up. Most people comment on the car and admire it. Although I regret having to sell it after all of the hard work. I really would like a large classic cruiser like an old chevy 56/57 with a big back seat for the kids. If you don't have an ebay 100% feedback with history to rely on. please don't bother bidding.
