Nice original and honest daily driver from Victorville in desert California.
The truck has many new parts including windscreen. battery. alternator. radiator. rear springs. adjustable track bar. fuel pump. park brake cables. and new imported American Oak wood bed with new strips/hardware. BF Goodrich Radial T/A tyres all around with wide 295/50/15 on the back.
Motor was rebuilt approximately 3. 5 years ago. Economical and runs well with no smoke. Truck painted approximately 7 years ago.
I left the paint as is to keep the weathered patina look but it would buff up and shine if desired. Truck was a daily driver in the USA and I use it here everyday aswell. All the brakes. steering and suspension are in good order and has been maintained and serviced.
All parts for these trucks are available brand new and are cheap and easy to purchase from the USA. There are also many performance specialists able to provide many aftermarket upgrades if desired.
It drives very well with many 200 km round trips to Sydney and Newcastle without fault. This would make an excellent shop truck and I'd have no hesitation driving it interstate tomorrow.
I have some receipts. owners manual. registration papers. CTP and Import Approval. Also have the original key with the original key code tag from the first day it was delivered at the dealership in 1964. Mileage currently shows 72599 miles.
I will also include the rear bumper which has a built-in tow hitch and the original side tow mirrors if desired. Other spare parts are available and will be negotiable to the highest bidder after auction.
If the new owner does not want NSW registration then I am happy to sell it without. I will remove the plates and rego and take $500 off the winning price. I can also assist with interstate transport at buyers expence.
These older 64-66 short bed stepside are very desirable in the USA and very hard to find. Please call or email with any questions. $2000 deposit required within 24 hours. Full payment and pickup to be arranged at convenient time there after.
