1976 Suzuki LJ50 4WD Soft TOP Grandad OF Jimny Sierra Vitara in NSW for sale

This rare and very original LJ 50 convertible has spent the last 20 years in a shed in far west NSW after the local owner sold it & rego expired. I bought it & spent heaps on it during the last year. bringing it up to NSW Blue Slip/Rego last December ( Rego expires 7/12/16). It starts easy & runs OK - VERY slow on the road. The appeal to me was the tiny 3 cylinder 2 stroke motor - who else has a 2 Stroke car! I think the canvas roof & doors are original. Has Roll bar. Bull bar and Side bars . The body needed a golf ball size bog in a sill hole to pass rego - the rest of the surface rust is really just patina!Tyres have good tread but they are old & hard - spare is flat & perished.
The car is offered in 'As Is' condition with collection at buyers expense from Tamworth. NSW.

Spark plugs. ater pump & radiator overhaul. ront wheel bearing/swivel kit. earbox Rubber mounts. ie rod ends. omplete exhaust system. lectric fuel pump ( in addition to vacuum powered original). asher motor/pump. Overflow bottle. attery. orkshop Manual.
