1927 Chevrolet Capitol Roadster for sale

This icon of Australian motoring history is Holden build number 81 of the 501 built. A comprehensive chassis up restoration. Some of the work includes:- five new tyres. tubes and rustbands. wiring loom. relined brakes. all bearings as necessary. and all new wood. Minor modifications that will not impact on historic registration :- converted to 12 volt. electric fuel pump. turn indicator lamps and fitted with a restored 1928 motor. The 28 motor is stronger and has a two port manifold that does away with the 27 head cracking. Rebored. new aluminium pistons and valve guides.
This smart little car is the hardest of all vintage Chevs to find but with good supplies of mechanical spares available can be used with confidence. It is good value at my asking price and I defy you to find another as good.
Has only 20 miles of running in along my quiet back roads on the odometer. Buyer please treat kindly for the first 1. 00 miles. Ready for a first registration as historic or even a full road registration.
