1984 Ford Sierra XR 8 Factory built with 5 ltr V 8
1 of only 250 V 8 sierras built in South Africa for saloon racing.
these cars were built to go fast they had no air conditioning . no power steering . just a 5 ltr . T 5 5 spd box . IRS . sports seats and big brakes.
They dominated saloon car racing in South Africa. Lots of footage on you tube for those that love motor racing.
I purchased this car and imported it from SA about 10 years ago and have done very few ks in it . t is still on the same tyres i bought it with.
I bought it with the intention of building it into a targa race car but i have built and pursued another form of motorsport.
It is currently on club rego . but has been engineered and registered on full rego in victoria so vic reg isnt a problem. I can assist buyer with obtaining club rego or a RWC for full rego.
Car is currently fitted with a EFI aussie spec 5 ltr . this had to be installed for engineers. It also comes with the factory motor that was in excellent condition when it was removed and stored.
This car is a heap of fun to drive and turns heads everywhere you go.
