1968 PORSCHE 912
I am regrettably selling my newly acquired Porsche 912 Coupe. The car was first registered in NSW in September of 1978 and eventually made its way to Adelaide in Late 2007. The car was originally registered in NSW with the plates ACW94C. but have obviously changed. This is for any Sydney siders. that may know the car. or have seen it before. The Cars VIN/Chassis Number is 12820010
Which when checked against Porsche Records indicates
12: Model 912
8: 1968
2: 912 Coupe0010: Serial Number
At some stage in its life. the cars engine was replaced with a 911 2. 7L 175hp 6cyl engine. This is documented on the registration forms.
As you can see from the pics. the car has the widebody guards. sides and front.
The front guards are all metal. same with the side skirts. However. the rear guards are FRP along with the wing. which is normal.
At some stage or another. i assume the car has been used for some sort of historical or classic racing. as it was registered in the Classic Car Club. but also because the bonnet has clips for locking it down. and also the interior features extra gauges. sports steering wheel etc.
For its age the car is in good condition. they are noticeable areas of rust. front of the bonnet and lower section of the doors. But for a car that is almost 50years old. i would have expected much more. I dont have keys to the car. that have unfortunately been lost. The car is currently registered and has had new plates issued to it aswell.
