Genuine California coupe. imported to Queensland and converted to right hand drive in 1991. same owner for the last 26 years. Options include power steering. Power Disc brakes and Air conditioning. Body and floors are solid with no issues. Paint is very nice with only minor imperfections (a few swirl marks). Shelby style stripes are painted and cleared. The paint work was done here in Australia some time ago and you can see that the time was spent on prep and that the car was painted correctly. Paint is what I would call very good driver/show quality.  Hoist inspection shows very good floors. framerails are boxed nicely with no dents or jack damage.  Torque boxes are excellent. sills are very good condition with factory part numberrs visible. both drain holes front and rear are intact and show no signs of rust. Rear framerails are good. the only repair I could find is there is a patch panel solidly welded in about 150mm x150mm on the left front floor. this is typical of an air condition car and the repair looks very well done. good to see. Under the car is impressive. all suspension bushes are in good shape. front and rear swaybar bushes are new. front controls arm. spring saddle and strut rod bushes are all good. Shocks look newish and bshes are good. I cant really see anything that would need attention under the car. One of the rear brakes is binding but we will fix that while its on the hoist.

Everything works on the car. all lights. indicators. interior lights. dash lights. horn. radio etc is in good working order. Interior is nice and clean from the carpet to the headliner. overhead console is good with functioning map lights. floor console and shifter are good. seats are nice and comfortable. There's an aftermarket Kenwood head unit fitted with 6 x9s in the parcel shelf other than that interior is as original. Seatbelts are Australian standard. fronts are retractable lap sash. rears are static lap sash. All windows wind up and down with ease and glass is good. Both doors lock and unlock with the ignition key as they should. There are two ignition keys and one trunk key.

The car runs and drives well. starts up easily and cruises along nicely. Power disc brakes on the front and drums on the rear. Wheels and tires are in as new condition. tires are 225 50R16 all round. There is another matching wheel and tire in the trunk for the spare with a jack and wheel brace. Trunk is very neat and has been fitted out with black carpet. looks really good. Overall a very nice car with nothing to spend.

Right hand drive conversion is a definite plus here. Add up the cost of a nice Mustang coupe and the cost (and inconvenience) to have it converted to RHD along with roadworthy coast and you'll get the picture.

Vehicle is just out of registration and being sold unregistered. We can supply Queensland roadworthy and registration to Queensland residents.
