FORD MODEL T - 1913 RUNABOUT / ROADSTER for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.15) based on 336 votes
Our 1913 Ford Model T Runabout ( roadster) is now available for sale. this vehicle has been extensively toured over the past 9 years. competing in the 2008 National Model T rally in Echuca. 2010 Veteran Car club tour of Tasmania. 2013 National Model T rally in Tanunda South Australia and within the 2016 Sea Mountains & Valleys International Tour in Victoria just this past month. The body was professionally built in South Australia in 2006 befitting its original single door entry to the passengers side. has some additional hidden strengthening features (which can not be seen) making this vehicle very sturdy on the road and likely to last at least another 100 years. The engine runs fine. the transmission works exactly as it should. we have taken the Kevlar bands and replaced them with purpose tour grade hard linings. making all pedal far more user/tour friendly. This vehicle is ready to tour right now. It is light and quick. both off the mark and whilst cruising. Two seat early veteran Model T vehicles are not that common. I can only think of 5 or 6. 1913 Ford Model T Runabouts within the country. This and our other Model T for auction # 2 - appeared quite heavily in the Underbelly 'Squizzy Taylor' series on channel 9 and lead car in the opening of East link here in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs.

ROAD SPEEDThis question pops up every time we take our cars out for a drive in the sun. and is easy to answer. Generally the cars will travel all day at 35 mph/ 60kph. but 70 to 75 kph is acceptable too without to much trouble. Speeds higher than that in a standard T layout. without auxiliary braking components. is probably not the safest way to travel.
COSTAs you may already know. Veteran cars are priced in steps. the earlier the vehicle. the bigger the steps. We have laid out as much detail as we can in order to give you the best idea of what we have within this auction. We have three T's currently. and will be selling only two of them.
This auction # 1 - 1913 ford Model T runabout. Auction # 2 - 1926 Ford Model T Tudor - closed car. two doors. electric starter. Auction # 3 - 1966 Ford Thunderbird Town Landau - 390 V8 auto electric everything.
The 1913 Ford Model T Touring - we are keeping.
If you are looking to get yourself into a great driving veteran vehicle. this one is reliable and ready to crank and drive.
We are happy to give you as much or as little driving instruction as you need to get you happily motoring with many other Model T fans and enthusiasts. both here and world wide.

Comments and questions to the seller:

from Glenn, dated 05 april 2020
G'day Dave, not sure if the T is still for sale. I am a member of the Coffs Harbour Veteran and Vintage Car Club and currently own a 1930 willys 98b Roadster. Having recently retired I have been on the lookout for a reliable veteran to rally. If this car is still available, can you send me some more detailed photos of the car and a bit of its history? Cheers glenn (0412326077 if you want to text photos)
