1961 Triumph TR 4.
CT 12665 L
Italian Michelotti styled body. First TR with roll up windows. Original Nova Scotia car.
One previous owner 1960's to 2000. Total frame off. nut and bolt restoration with everything new or rebuilt. Invoices available. Photo record.
Finished in 2010.
1000 miles since restoration. 58. 00 total miles.
Grey with blue stripes. base/clear coat professionally done. POR 15 interior body and underside. New Midnight Blue interior with leather seats. front and rear. TR 4 A seats (improved from TR 4).
Seat belts. spring-back mirrors. badge bar. Lucas 576 driving lights. Lucas reverse lights. Lucas PL 700 Tripod headlights with stoneguards.
Professionally rebuilt engine increased from 2138 cc to 2187 cc with 87 mm pistons from 86. 270° camshaft. Petronix ignition. strong oil pressure. New HS 6 SU. 1¾” carbs (improved model used on TR 4 A). Rebuilt overdrive gear-box (original goes with car). Spin-on oil filter. Rare surrey top with fixed backlight and interchangeable hard top and soft top
(blue Everflex). Triumph radio (only faceplate installed). Chrome Triumph wheels with new radials. Technalon car cover. A striking TR 4 it a good shake-down cruise to identify any adjustments needed. Mileage since restoration complete highway and it loves the open road.
