1963 FJ40 Land cruiser in this unrestored condition is truly hard to find. The 1963 is one of the earliest FJ40 models in the US. It even has the original hard to find top.  If you want a different FJ40 from your friends than this is it. If you know someone with one. that's amazing. The condition it in makes me believe the mileage is correct.

 I bought this one to restore but just don't have time now. I used a water pressure washer to remove the Green 1970's paint job to find the previous body work. I found NONE. The sheet metal is very nice and straight.  The rust in the pictures of the exterior body is surface (flash) rust from me exposing the metal with water. There are some closeup pictures to show this. There is the typical rust in the rear edge of the back floor. That repair patch can be purchased aftermarket. Also rust through on the leading edges of the rear inter fender well.   This would be an easy one to repair those rust spots and primer and paint it to your desire. The under side is amazing due to having a heavy undercoating Applied. The pictures show the metal is good.

It starts runs and drives but the brakes don't work. Starts easy. shifts smooth.   The shifter was moved to the floor and works real nice. The Ramsey PTO Winch works like it should. The engine has been replaced in the past with one I think is a 1969 F motor. Here is the engine number if you want to look it up. F295322. The body number (VIN) is 2FS4016548. It also is equipped with a Ramsey Winch Model  number 200R-246.

Being sold as is where is. The reserve is reasonable so please don't ask what it is. Kinda defeats the idea of an auction and isn't fair to the other bidders. Let's keep it fair.
