Up for Auction is a 1969 Mercury Meteor Sport S/33. This vehicle is rare.
I have owned it for over 5 years. This vehicle currently resides in Vancouver Canada. I have lovingly owned it and drove it summers only. This vehicle is a dream to drive. It has power windows. power brakes. power steering. and power top. Here is what I have done: new top. brakes. (front disc. back drums). new carpet. Re upholstered front buckets. back seat is original. new dash pad. new tonneau cover. new steering box. water pump. rear axle seals. dual exhaust.
The vehicle does not have any visible rust. However. the previous paint job was not great. It appears that some air bubbles have surfaced but have not gotten worse in the last 5 years. The paint is not perfect. I drive the vehicle. It has scratches on the paint so don't expect a perfect car. This is a driver. Some of the rear chrome moulding has flaking (not bumper). Overall this is a solid vehicle. Motor and tranny are strong. I bought this and the owner told me it was a 460 big block. Can't substantiate it though.
I wire brushed the frame a couple of years ago and no rust. Please call first before you bid. I will tell you all you need to know.
