1970 Mercury Cougar ELIMINATOR equipped with the BOSS 302 motor and a 4 spd manual transmission.

Much of the hidden details will not be seen by and average on-looker with this near perfect Mercury Cougar. The underside of the vehicle was given the same treatment as the outside of this car. This vehicle retains all of it's original sheet metal. This vehicle has been featured in many magazines showing off its impeccable attention to every detail. This exact vehicle scored a 498/500 in the Cougar Nationals. It is still the highest scored Cougar to date.

This Cougar was built October of 1969 and delivered to Bill Haden Lincoln Mercury in Las Vegas NV. It retains it's original and desirable color of Competition Blue. Of the 2. 67 Eliminators built for 1970. only 323 had the Boss 302 motor and 177 had this paint and trim codes. Motor runs strong and transmission shifts nicely.
