1940 WILLY'S AMERICAR ALL ORIGINAL STEEL COUPE. This is the HOLY GRAIL of collector cars. Drive train is original Willy's.
All Steel Body is perfect with perfect quarters tight door fit straight fenders and front end fit. No fiberglass here. 4 cylinder engine. 3 speed transmission. new tires. wiring converted to 12 volt. new hoses. belts. starter. brakes. interior and much more. There is no rust anywhere. Fenders had minor metal repairs by Sam Foose ( Chips Dad ) one of the best metal men in the country. The original running boards were removed and Sam fabricated metal bolt on covers over the rocker area below the doors. The original running boards will go with the car along with a few parts and factory books. The interior was installed to a period 1940's design. The headliner is from the 1960's. The paint is also from the 1960's. The body color is the old root beer metallic which was very popular at the time. The Willy's history is from Texas. This car starts and drives great. It has great power for a 4 cylinder stock engine. This is better than any barn find or garage find out there. Please do not bid if you do not have funds. and ask your wife first before bidding.
