Are you looking for a BEAUTIFUL - RARE - SURVIVOR - MOSTLY ORIGINAL - PAMPERED - Classic 1968 1/2 Lincoln Continental Mark III Two Door Hardtop with tons of nostalgia ?! Want to own a real eye catcher ?! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! Yes this is one BEAUTIFUL - SURVIVOR - MOSTLY ORIGINAL - RARE - 1968 1/2 Lincoln Continental Mark III !! In 1965 Lee Iacocca. the president of Ford Motor Company. told his design team to "put a Rolls Royce grill on a Thunderbird" and thus- the Contintal Mark III was born. For the first time in years the Lincoln Continental outsold the Cadillac Eldorado and was branded the "Working Man's Luxury Car". This is a RARE car as only 7. 00 Mark III Coupe's were produced and sold in late 1968 and all were titled as 1969's but had some differences from the Lincoln Mar K III's produced and sold in 1969. This Lincoln still retains its - FACTORY ORIGINAL - correctly mounted Lincoln driver's door mounted data plate. it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - correctly mounted front support mounted Lincoln engine data plate. it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Continental Mark III registered owners manual and it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - inner trunk lid mounted jack usage sticker. all of which are shown in several pictures below. This is a tight and solid Continental Mark III which NEVER fails to turn heads and came from the factory in one of the best most desirable color combinations of Grenoble Green Metallic on the outside and Black leather on the inside !! This car shows and runs VERY well indeed. We just purchased this BEAUTY from the previous older Utah owner and as you can clearly see in the pictures and video this was his pride and joy for sure but he just doesn't drive it much anymore !! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come see and drive this BEAUTY for yourself. you won't be disappointed !!

This BEAUTY has what appears to be the ORIGINAL - "GROUND POUNDING" - Code "A" - (365 horsepower / 485 lb/ft. of torque from the factory !!) - 460 CID V 8 motor in it and running well indeed. This is a pretty big car but let me assure you it's a ROCKET !! A good way to describe it is a Luxury / Muscle car. The engine also still retains its ORIGINAL four barrel intake manifold. ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds. ORIGINAL - " Ford" - scripted valve covers that still have the ORIGINAL engine sticker intact. ORIGINAL air cleaner housing and the ORIGINAL Autolite four barrel carb. ETC. !! The engine is backed by a - SMOOTH - Code "U" - C 6 three speed automatic transmission which also functions very well. Sounds good too with the factory style true dual exhaust system. The ALL FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "2 A" - Black Leather and Vinyl and walnut wood grain accented luxury Mark III interior is in VERY NICE condition with a NICE ORIGINAL Black Leather split front 50/50 seat with dual fold-down center armrests. VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Leather and vinyl rear seat with a fold down center armrest. NICE ORIGINAL Lincoln Continental steering wheel. VERY NICE ORIGINAL matching Black vinyl door panels. VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black carpeting. VERY NICE ORIGINAL factory gauge clusters. VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black and Walnut wood grain accented dash. VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl sun visors. VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS. VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl headliner and a VERY NICE - Black full vinyl top. In my opinion you're not going to find a much nicer MOSTLY ORIGINAL INTERIOR in a 45 year old car than the one that is in this BEAUTY. UNBELEIVABLE !! The - Code "R" - Grenoble Green Metallic exterior finish is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with really little to no wear showing other than several chips and imperfections and is still bright. shiny and looks STUNNING as you can clearly see in the pictures and video. The Black Leather and vinyl interior and the Grenoble Green Metallic exterior with matching Black full vinyl top is a GREAT color combination indeed !! How could you get any better ?!! This Classic Continetal Mark III is a great runner and a real nice looker. All of the ORIGINAL rubber weatherstripping is still soft. supple and in good condition for being ORIGINAL. It is nicely equipped including WORKING FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING that has just been professionally serviced including a new A/C compressor. factory "hide-away" headlights. working automatic climate control. factory power steering. factory power brakes with discs up front. factory power windows (two small rear windows have quit working). factory power door locks. factory front and rear seat belts. factory 6 way power adjustable front seats. factory power wipers. working original Lincoln Mark III AM / FM stereo radio. original clock which is still working !!. good heater and defroster. factory gauge clusters with a 120 mph speedometer. original day / night rear view mirror. original chrome remote driver's side view exterior mirror. factory rear mounted power antenna. factory back-up lights. factory rear seat vent and factory rear seat opera lights. This '68 1/2 Continental Mark III has great looks and AWESOME power to boot ! There are not many of these left on the roads for sure !

These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line all seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. This car also sports the AWESOME FACTORY ORIGINAL Stainless Steel Lincoln "Turbine" wheel covers and a set of NEARLY NEW whitewall steel belted radial tires. Boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this car and really retains that clean factory original look!! The CLEAN - SOLID Trunk is equipped with the NICE ORIGINAL Gray cloth liner and what appears to be the ORIGINAL SPARE TIRE !! that has never been used and the ORIGINAL jack and lug wrench. This Classic Lincoln Continental is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This vehicle is in NICE condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure.
