This is a "Pro Touring" build. 1984 Pontiac Grand Prix. T-top/Rear Soft/Vinyl top.
Frame Off Restoration and build up.
All new and aftermarket parts.
Over $157. 00 invested. over $60. 00 in parts alone. with documents to prove all work (example: crate motor $17000. crate transmission $3500. Autometer Cobalt gauges x 10 - $2500. Ridetech Air Ride Level Pro setup - $11. 00. custom body and paint - $32. 00. etc. )
BUILD:
Edelbrock crate motor (555 cubic inches. Proflow EFI fuel injection system. roller cam. aluminum heads. 695 HP. 650 ft/lbs torque).
Attached to this crate motor is a March Pulleys serpentine belt system. custom heater box housing a Vintage Air A/C system. and a high output alternator. MSD ignition. aluminum 3 core Be Cool radiator. dual electric cooling fans.
Also installed in the car:
- TCI Superstreetfighter crate 4 L 80 E 4-speed overdrive transmission. build to handle 800 HP with manual valve body - 2400 stall converter - custom aluminum driveshaft
- Currie crate 9" "Detroit Locker" POSI rear end with 3:89 gears - Ride Tech G-body Levelpro air ride suspension system including upper and lower tubular control arms. strong arms. front and rear anti-sway bars. double adjustable aluminum shocks.
- custom body kit front. sides and rear - all black leather interior
- power heated leather bucket seats - custom dash bezel with 10 Autometer Cobalt gauges
- Dakota Digital climate control for AC/heat - G-tech pro 4" tach for on top of the dash - B&M 4 speed Megashifter - MB Quart 216 component speakers - power windows - power side/door mirrors - GTO Judge spoiler - all new deepdish 15 x 10 wheels in the back. 16 x 7 up front - 4 wheel disc brakes (cross-drilled and slotted rotors) - custom made ceramic powder-coated headers - 3" full mandrel bent exhaust - 2 high flow Magnaflow cats - 3" H-pipe - 2 Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers - 6" chrome 'sewer pipe' tail pipes
Less than 1000 KM on car since build. engine has just been broken in. runs smooth as glass.
