Mercedes-Benz : 300-Series 300CD 300CDT 300 CD CDT W123 coupe

Today we are selling our 1984 Mercedes 300 CD turbo diesel coupe . My uncle bought this car new in October of 1984 and he pampered it ever since . It was finished by Mercedes in "light ivory" ( MB color code 623) with Palomino colored MB-Tex . This car was always garaged and whenever it needed anything . it was always attended to right away . The paint is original and in amazing condition all around . It still shines like on a new car . This car has never been in any kind of accident . This 300 CD has always been in Los Angeles and Las Vegas/NV . There is no rust of any kind . It is stunning inside and outside . The interior is super clean . There are no rips or tears in the seats . Even the sun visors are still nice and the vanity mirrors work with the lights . The wood accents are still in great condition and so is the dash . All the gauges are working properly . The AC is blowing ice cold and the climate control works the way it should . All the windows are going up and down all the way . The sunroof and the door locks work . just like the cruise control . Even the original Becker radio works together with the power antenna . This car has always been well maintained and it shows . Just look at the pictures of the engine compartment ! We just recently drove it back from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and we were cruising at 85-90 miles per hour the whole time . This car has lots of power and the transmission is shifting smooth through all the gears. The bullet proof 3 liter turbo diesel engine still gives you between 24 and 28 miles per gallon of diesel . There is no deferred maintenance and I can not think of anything this car needs right now . It is truly fun to drive in town and on the freeway . This car reminds you of a time when cars were built to last a lifetime and not just until the next years model comes along . If you keep taking care of this classic automobile the way it has been taking care of . you should be able to drive it for a very long time . It should only continue to appreciate in value . I would prefer to sell the car locally to somebody who could actually come out and see it . But i would also be willing to help with a airport pick up or with shipping arrangements for out of town buyers. Please have your funding in order and do your " due diligence " BEFORE placing a bid .
