I have a 1972 Mercury Monterey Custom that is a rare find. It is sporty and in very great condition.
It was stored in a garage under a tarp for many years. I have owned this vehicle for over 10 years.
All original except: tires and battery. heater core. which are all new.
Original paint - original interior - original vinyl top - original motor etc.
The Original Spare tire is in the trunk & Never been used. This car is in Yakima. Wa. which is the desert side of Washington state. So it has been in a dry climate most of its time.
I bought it with 12. 00 mi (I had 2 certified mechanics go over it at different time. and they verified that the miles are original. No roll backs etc)
18. 12 original miles 400 C. I. motor with a two barrel carb (original).
It was produced on 3/07/1972 in the St Louis assembly plant.
Red exterior Vinyl interior scheme White interior color w/Black components Auto trans XPL type Standard ratio non locking rear axle H 78 X 15/B white sidewalls Electroc clock Convience group Power seat fender skirts AM radio Intermittent wipers Appearance protection group Tinted glass all around Power windows power door locks.

I have gone through the car with a certified mechanic. We did minor work and the car is in GREAT SHAPE!!!
Being original paint. there are a few minor rub marks and small scratches. It was under a tarp in a garage for years in Washington State. for years. You can find a few flaws on it and If you come to look. I w/point them out to you. If you are interested. I can e-mail you pictures of any flaws (the original vinyl top is beginning to crack. small ding in trunk and original paint has wear and some scratches). very good for a car of this age.
It purrrrrrs like a kitten going down the hiway. I have had it for 10 years and it had 12. 00 miles when I bought it. It currently has just over 18. 00 miles.
This would be a GREAT CAR for a collector.
I am asking $12. 95. 00 but will consider ALL reasonable offers.
You need to come look at it and drive it home or haul it yourself.
