Seller's notes: This is an original vehicle. The exterior does not show any rust and appears to have been well maintained. Beautiful, sharp looking body. Exterior has been repainted. Upholstery needs work; driver seat has wear and tear, the back rest of back seat is torn, hump in the back floor is missing carpet. Driver's door arm rest is loose. There is rust on the floor of the driver's side of the vehicle, no holes. There is a crack on the dashboard.

The Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6. 9 made its American appearance in 1977. being referred to as simply the "6. 9". It competed with Cadillac and Rolls Royce. From 1975 to 1981. only 7380 vehicles were made world wide. In 1977. 462 were imported to North America. Made in Germany. It boasted a 6. 9 litre V8 engine. 269hp. The 6. 9 had a hydropneumatic self-levelling suspension. The ride height could be adjusted to specific driving conditions with a push/pull knob under the speedometer. This vehicle has had only 2 owners. Originally purchased on June 17. 1977. The second owner bought it on July 18. 1986 with 22. 80 miles. It currently has 79. 11 miles. This is an original vehicle. This vehicle mainly became a Sunday vehicle. in the summers. Absolutely beautiful body. Has been repainted in the past with its original colour. Shows no rust on the body. Under the driver and rear passenger floor board. shows rust but NO holes (not sure if moisture got in?). Interior will need work. Drivers interior door handle is lose. Crack on the dash board. Drivers seat has wear n tear. Drivers seat recliner handle is broken. Rear passenger seat on the back rest has wear n tear and pull on the stitching. In the rear passenger hump. carpet is missing. Sold as is. This vehicle has a beautiful. strong sounding engine. Contact for a video of running engine. This beauty needs a little love but it's waiting to make some new memories.
