Cadillac : DeVille Deville

1967 Cadillac Deville Convertible. A factory Triple black car (paint code# 10) that has been owned and cared for by the third owner for the past 22 years. this was his love and he took care of this car. the reason for the sale is that at 81 years of age he has been told he should not drive due to his Cataracts.  It is loaded with all the options and includes some options that are standard on the Eldorado. I have taken many High Res photos and these photos were just taken so they are honest photos. I can take other specific photos for you if I have not covered the area of interest.

The exterior of the Deville is in excellent condition. the black paint has excellent depth to it as you can see in the photos. the sides are very straight and the car is complete with all of its trim and bright work also in very good condition. All sheet metal is original and there are no rust issues prior or present in the vehicle. Bumpers are very nice with the front bumper just being re chromed to the highest standards. The body gaps are excellent throughout the car and the doors. hood. trunk and top all align nicely. The black convertible top operates smooth and has no rips or soils marks to it. The car sits on its original wheels and hub caps with all four radial tires being in good condition. All glass is in good condition. windshield has a little mark from the wiper.

Interior is original and as seen in the photos in excellent condition. the leather is very nice there is still that soft leather feel to it. the padding is not hard and dried out. this includes the seats. door panels. and un cracked dash board. there is a fitted cover for the dash to preserve its originality. carpets are not torn nor soiled. all power options such as windows. vent windows. seats and top are power and do work well. the factory AC is working and blowing cold. the factory radio works and the car has CD changer and upgraded speakers and amplifier. The trunk is complete with its spare. jack and in good original condition.

The original matching numbers 472 motor runs like a top. it is quiet and smooth. a recent service was complete and the original carb received a rebuild just recently. The transmission shifts smooth through all gears. when putting to the car from park to drive you feel the crispness of the transmission there is no sloppy feeling to it. There are no leeks to the motor or the transmission. the car has a dual exhaust. Suspension is tight and alignment is good. the under carriage is rust free and very presentable. An excellent looking and driving Cadillac.
