Up for sale is my 1969 Camaro coupe.  I've been in the restoration business for 33 years and selling on Ebay since 1999 so my description might be lengthy but honest. I'm selling only because the projected costs of remodeling my building keep going up.

This is a true numbers matching red-red X-44 car. The vinyl top is original and in great condition. There are some small  bumps under it near the bottom of the rear window. All trim is nice. New E-Z-Eye windshield with all other glass being clear and  good cond. The trunk lid has zero rust on the lower seam with original paint. Trunk gasket rails are perfect. The hood has a dent in the middle but these cars need a cowl or SS hood anyway. Header panel & grille in good reusable condition. The tail light panel and lower valance are rust and dent free. This car has never been hit and has all it's original sheet metal.

The quarters and outer wheelhouses will need replacing. The doors have perfect seams at the bottom. they will clean up nicely. The fenders probably should be replaced. the skirts are fine.

This car has awesome floor and trunk pans!!! As you can see in the pics the galvanized coating and spot welds are still visible on the rear frame rails. I pulled the rear seat to look for the seat belts (they are there) and when I rolled up the carpet the floors are clean with red overspray on them. The headliner is spotless. The dash pad is curled up in the front as is the rear speaker shelf material. The seats are really nice but have some fading. the bucket seat tracks look new yet and roll effortlessly.

The trunk has all the OE spatter paint. the correct bumper jack and the rust-prone area around the rear shocks is rock solid. The gas tank has a dent and the original spiral shocks are still on all 4 corners.

The FK code 327 was gone thru many years ago and still runs strong.  A 350 Turbo now replaces the PG trans. it was rebuilt and has firm shifts. The motor has headers and a Performer carb/intake combo. HEI ignition.  I have all the OE parts & trans - they go with the car. The radiator is new. the 10-bolt has 2. 73 gears.

The lights. wipers. signals. back-ups. dome. even the door buzzer works. A few things that don't: The speedo cable broke this summer. the gas gauge quit ( checked the grounds must be sender) and the heater core was disabled due to seeping.

On the highway this Camaro cruises along nicely with the usual squeaks and rattles of an old car. The power steering is smooth. just beware of the manual drum brakes. they don't stop like your new car.   This is your chance to buy a great starter project you can still drive and not have to go thru all the floor rust repair these old Camaros always need. My reserve is very fair --- it will sell --- Please no low-ball offers. they will be deleted. all other questions will be answered promptly and the auction will go to the end. Period.

$500 non-refundable within 3 days goes to PayPal - the rest in cash or bank money transfer. Canada folks are welcome to bid. however buyer must handle all the documents. shipping costs and related paperwork. Car is sold "as is" with a clear title in hand. I am located in SE Minnesota just minutes from 2 major interstate highways. You are welcome to come inspect the car.  Thank you. Happy bidding!!!
