1957 Meteor Rideau 500 Convertible. The Meteor was built by Ford Motor Company for the Canadian market only. This model is 1 of only 646 built in 1957. therefore is a very rare car. It has had a total frame off restoration done complete with a machined rebuilt 312 Y block original engine. The transmission has been rebuilt. also all brake components. new fuel tank. all the chrome and stainless have been done. All the door and window rubbers are new.

It has power steering. power brakes and power top. It has been painted the original colors. grey. colonial white and fiesta red. It has a new ABC red and white interior. It has new Hankook 215/75/14 whitewall tires.
Since the restoration was completed approximately 5000 miles have been put on. The car runs like a dream and can be driven anywhere. It has won many car show awards in Canada and the US.
