Cadillac : Eldorado 8.2 Litre

1972 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible.

This is an original Cadillac Convertible. It has its original paint. interior. and engine. It has 92040 original miles. It has an almost new radiator. exhaust system. battery. and tires. I have an original Utah Title in my name. You can fly into Salt Lake City and drive this Cadillac anywhere. Please look closely at all the photos. The engine runs well. doesn't smoke. and sounds excellent. The three speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly. and the power brakes work well. The power top works properly. and all of the power windows work very well. The power seat motor works. but the seat moves slowly. All of the lights. including the turn indicators. brake lights. and head lights work as they were designed. The speedometer and odometer work properly. With the top down. the Cadillac Convertible has the fiberglass boot that seals the convertible top down while driving. It has the original "glass" rear window. All of the glass is in very good condition. There are no cracks in the windshield or side glass.

The original leather seats are useable. but not perfect.

It has the original insulation under the hood. and the original jack instructions are still glued to the trunk lid. The chrome bumpers and trim pieces are in very good condition. The original jack and spare tire cover are in the trunk.

It also comes with a Cadillac factory fender cover to protect the fender paint while working on the engine. It also come with replacement door and truck seals that are still in the packaging. They are only original once and this is a very nice. original 1972 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible.

With the above information in mind. I want to list in detail the problem areas of the car. 1. The original paint shows well. but there is some wear. There is minor surface rust on several areas of the car. I have tried ot take photos of these areas. but they are minor and do not show well in the photos. 2. There is a small dent on the driver's side rear fender. It is small and should be easily repaired. 3. There is minor rust in the trunk on each side by the fender well. Again. I tried to photograph this issue. but it is so small it is hard to see. 4. The original leather seats have cracks. and there is a small tear in the top of the driver's side seat. The interior is very serviceable as it stands and there are no splits in the seams. It is 42 years old and the leather shows some wear. 5. The convertible top has a small tear about 5 inches long on the back of the driver's side. The top is complete and there is no rust in the header or bars. Again. the original top is serviceable. but not perfect.
