1979 Jeep Wagoneer
1979 JEEP WAGONEER 4 x 4
This 1979 Jeep Wagoner originally came from Montana. The original owners had it in the possession until around 2001 and it was then sold to the folk we bought it from in 2004. This rig has 58 k original miles and spent most of its life in the garage or carport. This is a solid solid example and does not have that typical rust many of these have. From the floors to the quarter panels. this is a fine example.
The interior is sooooo clean. No signs of major wear anywhere. The front seats are in real nice shape and the back on looks like it was hardly used. The carpets are clean as well with only a little wear under the mat on drivers side. If you look at the brake pedal. you will see almost no wear which is indicative of a low mile rig such as this. The headliner is bowing a little and look like it just came off the runners that are in place to hold it in place. Pretty typical I assume. The gas gauge works as does the speedo. The oil pressure gauge and battery amps gauge does not work. The headlights. tail lights. blinkers. brake lights. wipers. lighter and SUPER NICE STEREO SYSTEM work. IT has a nice thump to it and sounds clean.

The paint is 9%5 original and has been garaged mostly. Obviously. there are few places that show signs of being 35 years old but overall she looks fantastic for her age. You can see on the rear passenger quarter that she was hit by the sun for many years she spent in a car port. There is a little dullness and some paint cracking. It is localized to one panel so it can be corrected or left as an original. THERE ARE NO BUBBLES ANYWHERE! THIS HAS NO TYPICAL RUST THESE SEEM TO THRIVE ON! VERY VERY SOLID!
Mechanically. The original 360/2 BBL is very strong. We drove her home from Seattle with no issues other then a mild exhaust leak which will be fixed. The motor compartment is extra clean and looks like it has those low miles. The folks we got it from bought for them selves as a wedding gift and treated her right. I think she has another 100 k miles on that motor and you will be impressed with the power and drive-ability. She is fun to drive.
