This was going to be my project but got a 41 Chevrolet pick up instead that matches my 39 Sedan Delivery so This is up for sale

facts UNDER 300 GMC Surburban carriers Built in 1956  Aprox 1000 between 1955 1957 even made in 1958 from what I understand
Approx 40% Were the 6 cyc  and its stated  about 50 total were Small back window and 256 large rear window.     So best guess is approx 170 Big window  V8 316s ever built  how many are left 20? 25? do not miss this one.

lets talk about it .   Sold new in Washington State Near Spokane where it stayed until 1990 ( last time insured ) still have the Wa State Plates for her.
The truck was torn down and walnut blasted   and was then sold in 2004 new owner had lots of intentions but no movement on her in 13 years.  

This is a REAL V8 316 Hydromatic.
As you can see the truck is sealed in Primer ready to go.
the truck has all the main bumper pieces as well as the spare carrier.
The box is in good shape as you can see.
I have price this to sell  
LCM makes new metal for the truck so a resto is not that hard.    Not to mention this January one sold in Scottsdale for $76000. 00    now is was done to  high quality but still.   that is a good dollar.
