The vehicle is for sale as a near complete restoration project.

I have owned the vehicle since 1976. Two previous owners.

The vehicle was run by me for some 4 years at which time I took it off the road and stored it.

I began a nut and bolt restoration in the late 80s.

The major items of restoration included a full body restoration by Mick Miller. a new Lotus chassis. rebored engine ( + 40 ) plus too many new parts to mention. ( receipts for most items )

The body and engine/chassis were rejoined at Mick Millers and the final fitting out started by myself. A series of health issues prevented steady progress to the point. now. where I am physically unable to do the restoration justice.

The car is very close to completion with all parts to complete. The only significant negative item is the hood - I have it but it lacks a rear window.

The attached photos should give you a taste of the quality of the vehicle but a personal inspection prior to bidding is highly recommended.

The vehicle is tax exempt and I have recent communication from DVLC to confirm authenticity and my ownership.

I wonder if you can give an idea of work remaining, to complete restoration, plse?
I can see that interior needs work, plus hood as you describe - how about mechanicals? Does engine run? Drivetrain, brakes etc?
I reckon that I'm up for completion of some work but my years make me think twice about major stuff!
Any comments will be appreciated, thanks.
