A lovely example of this desirable owner driver sports saloon by Barker. This car has been in the current ownership for several decades in Denmark. During this time it has covered a little over 10. 00 miles of trouble free motoring. When first acquired the car was subject to a major mechanical restoration including an engine rebuild with new pistons & all the usual items attended to. The car is as a result in perfect running order with a strong silent engine & is driving beautifully.

The exterior is in its original colour pf black with the paint being in good order. A single side mount spare wheel adorns the passenger side & a period motoring trunk is mounted to the rear. Large P100 lamps are fitted up front making for an imposing frontal view allied to a single central spot lamp.

The interior is gorgeous blue leather throughout in first class order & extending to the door cars & seat backs. Pale blue Wilton carpet completes the ensemble. A pair of picnic tables fold out from the front seat backs as does a pair of foot rests for the comfort of the rear passengers. Very much an owner driver car. the front seats slide a long way back giving the more portly amongst us ample room for ingress. egress & comfortable driving. Twin vanity mirrors are found in the rear quarter panel alcoves along with smokers requisites.

The best part of this car is actually driving it. We motored it back from Copenhagen without it missing a beat. On the road the engine pulls strongly running in silence with excellent oil pressure & cool running. Not for nothing was this model given the moniker "sunshine Saloon". The sunroof is huge & slides easily back making for a pleasant alfresco driving experience. This is a difficult car to fault as everything works as it ought & the cosmetics are all in fine order with a light patination & un-messed around feeling exhibited by the whole car. Indeed the condition of the car is a credit to the careful & fastidious last owner who has clearly cherished the car maintained it without regard to expense.
