Here we have a Maserati 2. 8 Ltr twin Turbo spider by Zagato with manual Transmission

I understand that only 147 RHD spiders were manufactured so this car is quite rare.

I have owned the car for two years and have used it as a second car .

The car has only covered 6000 miles in the last 6 years.

The cam belts were changed in April 2012 at a mileage of 81879 which was when I bought the car

The car is not a concourse example but is a pleasure to drive the engine producing in excess of 200bhp makes the performance stunning for a vehicle of this age and price.

The car has always been reliable in my ownership starting readily even after periods of not being used- it was on SORN from December 2013 until just two week's ago and started immediately.

There is some evidence of cosmetic corrosion on the base of the windscreen . the door rear edges and the o/S/F wing lower quarter panel and some at the n/s shut face of the boot but nothing serious and must be expected on a 22 year old car that has not been restored. The under bonnet area and strut tops are very good condition

Had new front tyres last year for MOT and new replacement rear dampers-I will MOT again this year so will come with a full MOT

It has a stainless exhaust system.

Prices of these cars have risen dramatically in the last 18 months and this must be a last chance opportunity to get on the Maserati ownership ladder at a very reasonable cost in a car that can only appreciate.

As can be seen in the pictures the driver's seat base would benefit from a repair and the hood is not immaculate with some staining at the front edge and a repair at the O/S Rear however is fully functioning and waterproof

Air con does not work but the all-important heater control panel is working as is the blower motor- a very expensive item to rectify as the whole dash/has to be removed for access.

This is a late fuel injected car (5 bolt wheels) generally regarded as far better and more reliable  than the earlier carburettor variants

Located in the midlands with easy access to both M40 and M5 motorways viewing is recommended
