This MGB has been in the family for nearly 30 years & it has been a difficult decision to part with it. It belonged to my brother in law & sat in a garage for about 7 years before he agreed to let me put it back on the road. Unfortunately I am in the process of moving house & have nowhere to keep it. I would describe it as a work in progress although I have used it regularly & enjoyed driving it.

Mechanically & chassis wise I have done quite a bit of work on it. but the bodywork is pretty much original & as such would benefit from some attention.
I have spent over £6000 on the car within the last 2 years & have most of the invoices to prove.
Since the work was carried out this car has done less than 1000 miles.
The engine has been fitted with omega 1950cc pistons. eter burgess fast road big valve head. luminium backplate. ightened & balanced flywheel. rankgrind & balance. ew crank & cam bearings. ew rockershaft. ernier cam sprocket etc.
Leather executive seats(rear one is brand new). tainless steel Tourist Trophy exhaust. ew front & rear shock absorbers. ew rear leaf springs. oly bushes. ew uprated front discs & pads. ew high ratio starter motor. ew fuel tank. ump & filter king. Minilite replica wheels & brand new Uniroyal rainexpert tyres. I have fitted a new servo. but it started sticking on temporarily. hich is really irritating when in slow moving traffic. o I disabled it. Its new. so i'm sure it just needs adjusting.

Iv'e listed everything I can think of. ny questions or to view. please send me a message.

The car would probably best suit someone who enjoys tinkering with old cars(& has the time!)& as i've stated it would benefit from some TLC. hat said it is perfectly useable & at around £80 classic car insurance & Tax exempt. its a lot of fun with low overheads.

I would like cash on collection. ithin 3 days of auction end please.

In addition. forgot to list the car has a piper 285 camshaft & accuspark electronic distributor fitted.
