1974 Spitfire, BRG, Overdrive, VGC.Ready for the summer!

Much loved 1974 Triumph Spitfire for sale.

British Racing Green Mk 4 fitted with1500cc engine with an unleaded head. Engine and overdrive gearbox refurbished in 2010. Both working perfectly.

Refurbished drive shafts fitted a month ago along with new rear break cylinders. and flexi hoses. Front breaks refurbished last year also.

Full length uprated radiator fitted. Silicone hoses fitted throughout cooling system also.

Full stainless steel exhaust and manifold fitted with lifetime guarantee.

Uprated hi torque starter motor fitted.

Full new interior in 2010 including new carpet set. new seat covers and new door cards. All still look great.

New mohair hood fitted in 2010. Looks as good as new still.

The body was also fully restored in 2010 but due to daily use year round has suffered from some chips etc which have been touched up. It looks OK but buyer may wish to tidy up to make the car perfect.

The interior looks perfect with only the dashboard still to be refurbished to make it perfect.

The boot has boot carpet kit fitted.

Car will come with an all weather cover.

Four new tires fitted last year for MOT and have many years of life left.

Hundreds of pounds worth of spare parts included in sale including a Kenlow fan. clutch cylinder. front and rear break pads. hardtop (needs spraying to BRG but all seals and all glass included). replacement dashboard top plus other service items.

Only bad points are that the car has suffered due to winter use. This means areas which need tidying up on the paintwork. the steel wheels need re-spraying and both bumpers need a re-chrome. The dashboard also needs re-laminating but otherwise interior is good (as can be seen from photos).

The car will be sold with 12 months MOT and ready to enjoy over the summer while being improved to make it perfect. It has been my daily driver for years and have proven faultless year round. Very reluctant sale due to new addition to the family.

Valued at £7. 00 but selling for a lower price to reflect the work still to be done to the dashboard. the need to improve the paint. re-chrome the bumpers and refurbish steel wheels.
