1933 Humber 16/60 Snipe. only two owners from new and only 60. 00mls. just recovered today from a barn in Cheshire.

This is not your usual barn find though !

The Humber was fully restored from the ground up at great expense 20 years ago. it was then laid up in 1994 when finished under a dust sheet in a nice dry barn. in 2006 it was decided to re-commission it and £2500 was spent on having the starter motor. alternator. and various other items re conditioned. the car was only driven 74 miles in 2006 to one show and then stored again.

We have had the car running today and the engine sounds great. the clutch and gears engage as they should and the brakes work. even the handbrake !

The bodywork is still in great order. some light surface rust only is starting on the bottoms of two doors (see pic) and some microblistering to the bonnet. both not essential jobs to do as it still looks in great condition overall.

The interior is in fantastic condition. tyres were all new in 06 and all matching. still in good condition with no cracking etc

The underside is also in great shape. exhaust is still as new. no rust or plating evident anywhere. the sunroof is all working and in as new condition still.

This will make a fantastic diy project and should be on the road again with a weekends work. we have the v5 and quite a bit of history. old mot's invoices etc etc

Worth around £16-£18k when finished. reserve is a fraction of that
