This very rare Reliant Scimitar SE4 Coupe was rebuilt over a considerable period of time by the previous owner to me and finished in 2005. He used the car sparingly for one summer and then parked it up in his garage until I bought it in February this year. I immediately put the car in for an MOT and of course it passed with flying colours. The only things I've done since is put a new charging control box and a new battery on to it.

The rebuild started with a galvanised chassis. rebuilt suspension. brakes. steering along with all the mechanicals including that lovely sounding straight six Ford Zephyr engine.

It really has been a very expensive car to rebuild and the massive file of receipts bears testament to the great care. attention and hard work he put into it. It drives as good as it looks. no rattles squeeks or bumps and is a very rewarding car to drive.

There is a few of the V6 engined ones about but not many of this straight 6 versions which really does have a great sound.

The 'Negatives': 1. Paintwork has micro blisters only noticeable very close up. 2. Non original front bumper.

I genuinely wish I didn't have to sell it but I have too many cars about (the rest being projects and more difficult to sell) so this must unfortunately be sold.
