The W116 was the first of the real 'S Class' models. It was a big change from the traditional stacked headlight W108/9 models that came before it. The lines of these early cars are so crisp and fresh without any of the plastic cladding and 2 tone paint of later S Class models. The subtle details are beautiful and the engineering and build quality that went into these cars is clear to see. The condition of the car is as you see it in the photos. Recent additions include heated leather interior and an Air Conditioning installation which uses the original controls.
