Ford escort mk1 road/stage rally car NEW BUILD

Lovely built solid shell originally a  1974 1300e

Not a bubble of rust anywhere new floors etc. seam welded. nbsp;large tunnel. gussets etc etc as clean underneath as on top. Light weight fibreglass bonnet and bumpers. Six point safety devices msa cage with door bars. Firewalled. Brand new perspex windows with sliders sides and rear msa spec. Split heated laminated screen. New alloy shaped tank with lines inside car correct type msa fuel hose . New alloy battery and fuel pump trays. Welded in msa seat rails with in date new sparco msa seats and full in date msa 4 point harnesess. Fully plumbed in fire extinguisher with pull cables and hand held to msa spec again. All brake and power lines run in car.

Front coilover adjustable height bilsteins with anti dive double width anti roll bar setup . world cup crossmember alloy wheel hubs and extended studs. clubman alloy sumpguard. bold on oval thick strut brace. Rear avo adjustables running on single leafs and panhard kit . Single piece new prop running to english axle and plate type lsd.

Hydraulic pedal box with adjustable bias . hydraulic handbrake cables still fitted as per road rally regs.

Tran x 4 speed straight cut rocket box

ENGINE pinto 2lt plus ;) just been built by James motorsport stage 3 spec head huge valves etc etc cam proper long nose followers new pistons . ightened flywheel high pressure high flow oil pump list goes on. Still running in motor. not even covered 500 miles yet . Running on single 45 weber sidedraught as per road rally rules. aldon dizzy with ignitor with matched advance curve etc etc Group 4 3 piece exhaust manifold and system . Alloy  radiator with electric fan . alloy catch tank . Rs alloy sump .

Brantz 2 new tripmeter and rally clocks with remote running off brantz front wheel sensors. navy alloy footrest . digital speedo for driver also capable of trip etc.

All in all this is a fresh built road/stage rally car has only covered approx 500 road miles and was built from 99% new parts . as im sure you are aware this build ran well over 20k and has an agreed insurance valuation of 25k. All is required is a msa logbook and will sail through was built with the blue book in one hand and a spanner in the other !! But also meets road rally regs.

Selling to a change in circumstances and regrettable sale. serious enquiries only. you and i know what these cost to build and a worth fresh out of the box with no competition miles it wont be given away and would rather put it in storage than let it go unless the right offer comes up. Vehicle has just been taxed and test is till august.
