Jaguar Mk2 3.4. 1963.

For Sale:Jaguar Mk2 3. 4 manual with chrome wire wheels owned by me since 2003 2 previous owners. Brought back to excellent running order. The body work was refurbished between 1990-1996. i purchased the jaguar in 2003 where it had only completed 1500 miles since restoration it was not running very well but once home it was soon sorted.
Since then there have been 19804 miles  accumulated since then. I have maintained this car to a very high standard running on millers 20/50 oil and ngk iradium plugs.
The jag has taken part in classic car runs. hows and been awarded. She was centrefold in a Chinese fashion shoot taken at a country mansion.

The car had been reliable and on the button when it developed a smoking problem in 2009 the engine has been replaced and upgraded due to corrosion and at that time a 5 speed getrag box with modern xj6 clutch assembly. 23 ignition was fitted and an xj6 oil pump for better oil circulation.  All professionally done and to a high standard the gear positions are the same as the moss box (except the 5th gear) But much easier to use.
03 Stainless exhaust fitted .
04 timing chains upper and lower were replaced. kenlow fan as back up it retains the original cooling fan.
06 springs and koni  adjustable shocks harvey bailey front springs and uprated rear springs and koni adjustable shocks were fitted.
2010 the radiator was re cored.
2011 All seats replaced with beige xj40  electric front seats the job on the rear was completed by a talented and experienced trimmer who made the seats fit as if they were born there ! they look fantastic are comfortable and supportive.

The original valve transistor pack radio has been restored and is complete with an i pod lead.
Condition wise she cleans up very well and looks smart but as with all the old cars she will need some paintwork and body in the near future  . he chrome is aged but presentable. This is not a trailer queen she is prettyto look at ! nice to drive and needs an owner who will tend to her appropriately!.
I have made modifications to the jaguar to make it reliable comfortable and more drivable.   
This will make a nice buy for someone with a similar mind that wants a reliable drivable classic.
