For Sale Lotus Elan plus 2 S in yellow with a metallic silver roof.
The vehicle was first registered in 1969 and has 5 former keepers. It has the 1. 6 big valve and 5 speed gearbox fitted from a S 130/5 
The car starts and drives without problems and has been a joy to drive.  The mileage is shown at 78000 and believed to the genuine.
This Lotus has under gone a body off nut and bolt restoration over the last 3 years. where the following has been carried out. Resprayed in yellow with a metallic silver roof 3 years ago with a matt black engine bay. Engine has been completely rebuilt and has only covered 200 miles since its completion.  completely new alloy wheelsNew door handlesNew head liningNew rotor flexes The bumpers. door frames. wheel spinners have been re-chromedNew indicator clustersNew headlightsNew rear lightsNew wiring loom throughout. ew dashboard. ew door and boot sealsspark plugs. dizzy cap and leads. rotor arm. points and condenser all new. It has a modern cooling fan fitted

Points to mention. br>The ambient temperature gauge isn't working. have been looking for a replace but are hard to come by.  Steering wheel is the original. but could do with replacing or refurbishing. There is a crack on the chrome surface on the chrome bumper which has chipped off. Some micro blisters and stress cracks on the paint. but you must look closely to see them. Glove box requires a switch for the light
