Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.15) based on 462 votes

This is a full custom PROJECT truck.   The truck is about 90% finished with most of the hard work completed.   I've been working on it for about five years but the real bottom line is that health issues will preclude me from ever finishing it myself so now it's time to let it go to someone that can finish and enjoy it.

The truck has a clear title in my name and is currently registered and licensed.

Listed below are highlights.

BODY    -Top chopped 3 inches and cab chopped 4 inches    -Custom fabricated full length rocker panels    -One piece fiberglass tilt front end with cowl hood    -All interior panels and rocker panels are removable    -Unmolested Dashboard    -Door handles and fuel filler neck shaved    -37 Ford Tail Lights

MOTOR   -496" Aluminum Stroker BBC. nbsp;454" plus . 030 and 1/4" stroker kit    -Rectangle port aluminum heads with 2. 25 and 1. 90 valves    -10. 7 to 1 compression ratio. 89 octane gas compatible    -Eagle crank and rods    -ARP Fasteners    -Flat tappet hydraulic cam    -Comp Cams lifters. locks and push rods    -7 quart oil pan   -Sanderson Block Hugger Headers    -Long style water pump with Billet Specialties Pulleys and Brackets                This motor was built by A. R. Racing-Performance in Sumerduck Virginia.   This same combination has produced 607 HP at 5. 00 RPM and 602 ft. lbs. of torque at 4. 00 RPM.   This motor was designed to be extremely powerful with tons of low end torque yet still streetable.   This motor is brand new and has never been fired.

TRANSMISSION     -Turbo Hydro 400    -Reverse Shift Pattern    -HD trans with 34 element sprag. new bushings. bearings and Alto race clutches    -Coan Trans Brake    -B & M Deep Aluminum Pan    -High performance Stall Converter (2. 00 to 3. 00)    -Hurst Quarter Stick Shifter. console and mounting plate    -Remote trans cooler with mounting plate. fittings and braided lines      This transmission was built by B & C's Transmissions in Machesney Park. Illinois.   This trans was designed to compliment the 496" motor.   This shop has many of these units in cars producing well over 600 HP with excellent results.   This trans is brand new. never run.

CHASSIS   -Full mild steel tube chassis with complete roll cage    -4 Link Alston Rear Suspension    -QA-1 Adjustable Coil Overs on all four corners    -9" HD Moser Big Ford Rear End with 3:31 Spool    -Rack & Pinion manual steering    -Wilwood Disc Brakes on all four corners with Wilwood Master Cylinder. new proportioning valve and power booster    -Custom Denny's Nitrous Drive Shaft

OTHER   -Custom Rock Valley stainless fuel tank mounted between rails behind rear end    -New custom steering wheel with horn kit    -New Flaming River tilt steering column    -New Haywire E Series Wiring System    -New electric door poppers    -New power window kit    -New Lokar E. Brake handle and cable    -New custom throttle pedal and cable    -New custom bucket seats. black with red piping    -New custom Gauge Cluster

The truck still needs the following major work and materials.     -Windows. all need to be custom made due to top chop    -Exhaust system after header turndowns    -Carb. was going to use a 950 Quick Fuel unit    -Fuel system plumbing (materials and labor)    -Completion of brake system. rear brakes and lines    -Installation of all electrical components    -Fuel Pickup    -Radiator and hoses    -Battery    -Finish bodywork and paint     This list covers major items but anyone who has ever done one of these projects knows that a multitude of minor issues should be expected.   The cost to complete will vary widely depending on how much you do yourself. the cost of materials and the level of completion desired.   Obviously. it will be considerably more expensive if you choose to have a full custom interior and an award winning paint job as opposed to minimal upholstery and a "Do it Yourself" paint job.

Now for the mandatory verbiage.   This truck is being sold where is. as is with no warranty.   I've done my best to give a full accurate description with plenty of pictures but interpretation can differ from person to person.   I strongly recommend a personal inspection before bidding as all sales are final.   Please ask any questions before bidding.

A $300 non-refundable deposit will be required within 48 hours of end of auction (PayPal preferred) with the balance to be paid in cash when truck is picked up.   Any other method of payment must fully clear my bank before truck will be released.   The reason for the non-refundable deposit is to cover the cost and hassle of relisting if high bidder doesn't complete the purchase.

Truck will need to be picked up in northwest Illinois. near Rockford. Illinois.   The truck needs to be trailered and you will need room to haul parts not installed.

I reserve the right to end the auction early as the truck is also being advertised locally.   Lastly. PLEASE don't bid unless you are serious and have the funds available.

Thanks
