The car left the factory with the underside and the engine compartment painted in a red oxide paint which can still be seen today. the underside is very clean and pictures can be seen to show how solid this car is. it has a full stainless steel exhaust and has just had some new rubbers fitted to the system to keep it in top condition.
The car sits very well on almost new Avon turbo speed tyres and drives and handles very well. The battery is under the rear seat in a compartment near the hydrolic roof system. The Electric/hydrolic roof raises the roof in 2/3 seconds from a switch on the dash board. The red roof has the original rear glass and is unmarked and folds to the 'deville' position when required. The car looks elegant with roof up or down as the glass in the side can be up or down at the same time also up or down or in the 'deville' position. so very much ahead of its time!
The paint on the car has a glass finish and you can see your reflection in it! The thin red 'hand painted' coach line finishes off this quality motor car. All the electrics work as they should including a period light on the drivers pillar which can direct the light from the drivers seat.
The inside of the car is like a gentlemans office with the seats being original leather and the dash in perfect condition. the carpets were changed 3/4 years ago and are still like new. It would be difficult to find a better car starting at this price and is being sold without reserve to the highest bidder. values on these cars are always near the £30 K region. It is a three owner from new car with a big history file and bills and documents. it has been on a calender and is much pictured when it goes on outings. this classic sports coupe transports 4 adults in complete luxury and with ease.
I recommend viewing before you bid and I can collect from any local station or airport. Delivery can be arranged anywhere in Europe at an 'at cost' basis so please as for a cost to your home. This is a private sale from my well known collection of classics that are among the finest cars any where in the world and that I am only now parting with due to ill health.
