Range Rover Classic 3 Door LHD

1988 Range Rover Classic 3door. LHD (Very reluctant sale but new house forces sale. )
I've had this lovely Range Rover for about a year now. as I'm a bit of a Land rover fanatic. I wanted to put it back to it tip top condition and to keep it in the garage next to my other Land Rover and use it occasionally. I've spent 1000's on it during a small restoration. I found it in Spain where it spent about 10years. The car benefits from period fixtures including original Range Rover fitted seat covers. Air/Con. and electric Windows & Mirrors. I also found under the seat the original manuals and brochures. including a rare Range Rover Trust grill badge. (not included).
At some point it found its way back in the UK and on UK number plates. I would recommend doing a Heritage Certificate search at Gaydon as it's quite a peculiar one as its a late 3door and left hand drive. it would be interesting to find out where it got exported to when it left the factory. I think it must of been somewhere hot as the chassis is in excellent condition. I've managed to do a basic history check through the DVLA. and I have copy's of all the old V5's and some old MOT's. it states year of manufacturer in 1988 and first UK registration in 2003.
The Engine is the original V8 3. 5 EFI (flapper) petrol. great runner sounds like a V8 should! and drives as it should. pulls strong through the gears and in low range. I had'nt driven it for a few months. but I drove it around about 30 miles the other week locally and it seemed fine so I booked it into a MOT and it passed with know problems.
Below is a list of work that has been done.
* New tail gate* Fuel pump & relays* Brake Discs. Calipers. Pads. Flexi pipes & a master cylinder* Recon Power steering box* New exhaust * Water pump inc aux belts* Full service including. distributor and leads. all oils including gear box transfer box and axels. * New roof lining. Chassis Waxoly treatment after MOT* New MOT
When I purchased it. it was in Caspian blue but the lacquer had peeled all over the car due to the hot climate so I had it professionally re sprayed in Eastnor Green (pictures attached)
Bad points (Just being picky!)
* Electric windows. The lifter/guide has come off both resulting the windows not going down on there own. but go up fine! (Both Electric motors work fine)* Would benefit from a nice set of mats* Rear tail gate some times opens when driving. mainly over bumpy country roads! so needs adjusting. * Pulls slightly to the left. prob needs tracking. * Small cosmetic bits. like rear view mirror needs replacing due to a bit of distortion. * The engine fan guard has been misplaced by the local garage when they changed the water pump* Under bonnet soundproofing also got lost when the bonnet was removed for spraying  Only small stuff as you can see and not expencive to put right.

The car has no TAX anymore so unless you have trade plates it can't be driven away. I can arrange transport if you want. I know a reliable guy who will transport it anywhere in the Uk. ask me and I will get you a quote.  
I've put a reserve on the car as I'm not going to give it away. Starting price £2500. I've advertised it else where so I have the right to end it early. Ebay rules apply. £500 deposit from winning bidder. then balance via PayPal or bank transfer before collection/delivery.

* I've had a few emails asking about the condition of the seats under the covers. The seats are in remarkable condition for its age. No rips . little faded in places. the back of the passenger seat (hard bit) slips down occasionally and needs a couple of stronger screws to stop this. Personally I like the period seat covers. adds to the country look. (I will try and post some more pictures of them on Friday)
* I've put together a box of parts that I've found in the garage which I will put in the back of the car. including a set of recon injectors. HT leads & dissy cap.
* I've been using it this weekend. and it's been driving well after being stood around for a while. It probably would benefit having those recon injectors put in and a fresh full tank of fuel run through it. as sometimes it's a little sluggish.  TRYING TO BE HONEST.
