Here is my Goggomobil T250 it has had two previous owners one German and one Dutch before myself. The Speedo reading is 33320Kms (20704 Miles). These are quite rare cars  in the UK. They were made by the Glas engineering company in Bavaria who started to make them in the 1950s the early ones having suicide doors and sliding windows. they later changed to wind up windows and conventional hinged doors. In the late 1960s Glas  were taken over by BMW and this one was made after the takeover and log book gives BMW as maker. The engine is in the rear being a 245cc parallel twin 2 stroke developing 13. 6 hp at 5600 rpm and runs on a 25 to 1 mixture gravity fed to a Bing Carb. Suspension is Independent all round with 8" hydraulic drum brakes. A four speed and reverse non synchro gearbox is fitted Speedometer is the only instrument on dash. A petrol tap with reserve position is on rear shelf. The car now has period metal number plates. Since the last mot car has done 352 kms. The car has had the following  parts replaced since I acquired it. Four new wheels. five new tyres and tubes. four new wheel cylinders. four new brake hoses. Master cylinder overhaul kit. Front brake shoes. windscreen rubber gasket. air filter hose. roof headlining. front window bottom seals. front shock absorbers. Rhs wing mirror fitted. petrol tap overhaul kit. rear hub bearings. indicator lamp rubber seals. rear boot lid seal. brake light switch. rear light rubber seals. spark plug seals. I have had it to several local vintage car shows where it attracts lots of interest as people have never seen one. it has had its picture taken lots of times. Spares are available from Uwe Staufenberg in Germany who gives an excellent service. His catalogue and price list come with the car also a service manual and an English sales brochure. These cars were sold in England but were quite expensive compared with Isettas . Heinkels etc so only small numbers were sold they had  the same engine but of 299cc. a conversion kit with new cylinders and pistons is available but only gives a small increase to 15 hp. I am selling the car to make room in my garage for camping gear as I have just recently purchase a caravan.  I would require a deposit of £200 by paypal from successful bidder
