1968 MGB GT CHROME BUMPER MK II 4 SPEED MANUAL WITH OVERDRIVE.


Belonged to 82 year old gent who was restoring the car for his grand daughter. She decided it wasn't for her so he stopped 2 thirds of the way through.

From what I can tell she needs work to the rear quarter panels and painting. several panels have been primed but this was several months ago.

The webasto sunroof has been bolted on one corner. the sills appear to be in good order but there may be a small amount of welding required.

There were no 6v batteries with the car. but I managed to get her turning over with one 12v battery. The oil pressure is excellent and the engine turns freely. I expect she needs the distributer going over and some new plugs. The engine looks in good condition and has covered 80K. The MG stickers are still visible on the Rocker Cover.

She is a 46 year old car which has had some repair but with some tlc will be a lovely Classic once more.

I have the old style logbook and keys.

Good example Chrome bumper MGB GT's can fetch up to £12. 00 !
