Seller's notes: there are dents/scratches/surface rust patches in various places but nothing major. The drivers front wing is rotten (see pic) at the very bottom (underneath) but I wanted to keep the Paint original and go for a Patina style so I didn't mind it. Drivers heater channel and floor replaced last month along with floor behind passenger seat and rear of heater channel.

So this is going up for sale. It's been quite a journey for me owning this car and it has taken a lot of time and money getting it to where it is. Unfortunately the house deposit could use the cash tucked away in the beetle so it has to go. Comes with :Full motFull tax (free anyway)4 x original steels (ready for banding and painting) Black door cardsPeep mirror Box of odds and sodsRoof rack. 4 x domed hubcapsFitted to the car is:Armstrong Air ride shocks up frontViair compressor and 5 litre tank behind rear seats (hidden)Custom Narrowed shockless beam 4. 5"Brand new Limebug drop spindles (extra 2. 5" lower)Dual needle air ride gauge and paddles in glove box. Bug pack rear shocks (new)Bug pack drag shifter. Empi Exhaust system. Cream door cardsoriginal stereo refurbished. Ivory dash panels. D-Ring steering wheel. Centerline copy wheels 15" with good tyres all roundBugpeople. nl Beam skid plateThe rear brakes were rebuilt for the MOT along with £900 worth of welding to get the car back to being solid again. The engine runs absolutely spot on and has never let me down! starts every single time!My plans were to band a pair of my steels for the rear and get them painted then lower the rear by 1 spline. But needs must. A lot of time and money has been spent to get this back to being a good road worthy state. Don't get me wrong the car is not perfect but structurally it is good!
Now the car is 43 years old. the only problems it has are:The bonnet springs are broken and the bonnet latch is stiff. The spring for the ignition has dislodged. doesn't cause a problem as long as you turn the key back a click after starting. fuel gauge works intermittently. Steering box could do with being adjusted to balance out the steering lock (more left than right. but common on narrowed beams) I have now bought 2 new running boards. I'd describe the body as patina with the original paint (43 years old!)

V5 is present and in my name.

if you have any questions. I can't say that i'd take a cheaper car and cash my way ;)

Since the last listing I have lowered the rear end by 1 more spline (2 splines total now) which has evened out the ride height.

Just to be clear. the front shocks are adjustable (air ride)

The rear is normal with bug pack shocks.
