ITS BACK !!!   SORRY EBAY IN THEIR WISDOM DECIDED TO REMOVE BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT TO TAKE PAYPAL AND PAY THE HIGH FEES WHEN I OWN A CARD TERMINAL!!    Sorry for confusion - item is still for sale.


Here we have again my Barnard Formula six (F6) junior race car.    These are extremely rare and do not surface very often.  there was one on here a month ago but before that cannot remember.   Unlike the previous item this one is sat on it's wheels (all original even Avon slick tyres) Original Briggs and Stratton engine which is free and coupled to original clutch.

Ideal for full restoration (which is what I was going to do prior to my diagnosis but now has to go.    Would also look good as is due to its patina and charm.

Believed to be late 50's early 60's and has chassis plate of 422.

I have been interested to see your Barnard Formula 6 car,I was racing one in 1969 when I was 15yrs old,we travelled to Detling Kent,I have 3 trophies,cups,which I've kept since.I think the cars started in 1966,the first car Tom Barnard built for his son,and there was so much interest he went on to build many more,I hope you find this info helpful Adrian
