1970 Cadillac DeVille Convertible (Slight Custom) Runs/Looks Amazing

Here is my 1970 Cadillac DeVille Convertible powered by a 472ci V8. It is about as loaded as any 1970's car can get. I bought the beast a couple years back from an 81 year old retired Judge down in Kentucky. He had just had the car painted and a new convertible top put on it. The old feller told me the car was used only in parades for potential political candidates and that he was no longer going to be their driver. I went to Kentucky and drove the car back to mid Michigan without one single issue. and on 1 tank of gas. Since I've owned it I decide to make a few improvements to the "Caddy". All within the past 2 years I have done the following:

I gave the car to a an expert for a 2 month period to have him go through all the wiring of the entire car. and motor components to ensure that everything was working properly.

I had 3 seatbelts installed in the back seat.

A brake job and complete tune-up was performed.

I decided to have the old cracked white interior completely removed and had a custom black interior installed. I also had a black custom convertible boot made and a custom dash mat.

A pretty bad ass stereo system was installed

An awesome set of Boss rims and new 17" aggressive tires were put on (at no minor expense I might add). I do still have all four original Cadillac hub caps that go along with the deal.

I could go on and on about this car but seeing is believing on this one. I will honestly tell you that I have been approached a few times to have the car put on display or in shows. never to be taken up on the offers for this reason. the car is 45 years old and has not been restored to absolute mint condition. therefore I never felt comfortable putting it out there to be critiqued. There are a few minor flaws to the car that I have no problem with and most people can live with. If you need it to be perfect I will tell you it is REALLY. REALLY. REALLY. NICE. but not showroom mint. I will hide nothing on this car and answer any question anyone has! I have put only 935 miles on it in the past two season which is not worth me keeping it in the garage taking up a lot of space (this is a big one). My daughters and I absolutely love it and are sad to see it go. but realize we just don't use it like it should be used. THIS CADILLAC NEEDS TO BE DRIVEN AND SHOWN OFF. I will say this. "you sure do strike up a lot of conversations when you pull up in this thing". Trust Me!

The car runs and looks absolutely AWESOME. there is just nothing like an old Caddy Convertible.
