SINGER 4AD ROADSTER, COMPLETE CAR WITH MANY EXTRA PARTS. DISASSEMBLED

 Singer 4AD roadster. Great car in excellent shape. From Albuquerque. NM area originally.

These cars seldom come up for sale. This car was disassembled back in the 70's. the owner passed before he could restore it. It has since been in dry storage since 87 in Mississippi. This car comes with many. many extra parts. Please study the pictures carefully and ask all questions before bidding.

I know very little about these cars. but I do know Model A Fords. If this wood was in a Model A. I would use it as is without a second thought. There are two little dents on the back corners. A few other little dings and that's it for the body. The only rust issue is  the metal tray under the drivers seat that has some rust through. That's it. The rest of the body parts are pristine. There are two sets of hood sides. two sets of running boards. an extra set of doors and an extra trunk lid. There are two radiator shells. two complete windshield assemblies with good glass in place. There are two sets of side curtains with sliding glass panels (all glass good) and of course the top bows are present. The top material may be useable but I'm not sure on that one. The frame is great as well.

As for the mechanical and electrical parts: 3 radiators. 3 sets of headlights. several sets of door handles. two speedometers. two gauge clusters. several sets of tail and running lights. Tow extra transmissions. and extra engine block and crankshaft. 3 generators. 2 extra starters. extra tube shocks. at least 4 extra Armstrong shocks. The gas tank is in great shape. There are 3 valve covers. This was originally a dual carb car and the manifold and carbs/air cleaners are present. There are two extra heads and single carb manifolds. extra cams.

As for the interior. there are two sets of seats. 3 steering wheels. the original dash board. I've already mentioned  the gauges and speedometer are present.

The list goes on and on. Original jack. two spinner wrenches. hand crank. three wiper motors. Extra center section rear differential. Extra axles. Please study the pictures and ask questions.

The engine in the car does turn over. but there are some cracks in the block on the drivers side. so you would need to use the block that comes with it. There is no ring groove in this block. but it would need to be honed to clean up the bore. Also. the vin  plate is missing. I'm trying to have one made at this time. I have paperwork from 1968 with all the vin. engine. and manufacture dates. This will be sold with bill of sale only.

Also included is a three ring binder with all the original owners disassembly notes from 1973. There are also numerous old Singer Owners Club news letters from the 70's. and other manuals both original and reprints.
