Full body off restoration in 2009 by DC Customs and engine rebuild at roughly 60000 miles.

Ex Show Car.

Her name: Eleanor.

Classic Historical VW Beetle.

Tax exempt. (NIL)

No need to Pay tax as she's pre 1973!

Insurance is dirt cheap.

Twin Exhaust.

She was originally Blue. now a Mean Matt Black.

I get asked constantly if she is for Sale and now she is!

I have another project on the go and haven't had the time to drive her so would rather see her go to a good home and let someone else enjoy her.

Genuine Gene Berg Shifter (Ultimate Retro gear stick giving it a real muscle car feel).

The previous owner used it as an everyday car with no issues. Used for short journeys and trips to Birmingham & Norwich.

The previous owner also hand painted it Matt black giving it a classic rat look and certainly makes it stand out from the rest.

I used it only for a few months around London and couldn't have clocked anymore than 20 miles on it.

Its been kept in a dry underground Car Space with cover and well looked after.

No rot at all. this car is completely solid. one of the best I've seen in years.

The 1500 engine twinned with the classic tailpipes pulls really well and sounds amazing. loud enough to turn heads but not having that boy racer look.

Bad Bits

Driver's seat cover has a rip. Easily replaced.

Headlight button needs replacing (very cheap on internet).  

Roof Rack not included. Previous Owner kept it.

Ok. Eleanor needs a good Home. so this is another Auction for Her. Last Auction was close to my reserve price but not quite (5 Bids getting to £3. 76. 57 Watchers & 2826 views). Had some Genuine interest recently & some Time Wasters. but no one's followed through. I suggest you look on eBay and other sites. This is a very reasonably priced car. There is no hidden rot. issues or problems like many out there and this isn't a Resto that'll cost ££££ to restore but a Road Worthy & good conditioned 44 year old Beetle. If you know anything about Classics. tax is nil in this case. insurance is cheap. parts are a bargain and you can get them 2nd hand & they look so F!*%in' Awesome even if your having a bad day She'll cheer you up.
