MG xpag engined special

Relisted (see below) but unique XPAG special based on MG YA saloon chassis with aerodynamic lowered and narrowed ash framed body. cycle wings & aluminium front panels. Chassis completely stripped and rebuilt with new brake pipes. re-cored shortened radiator etc. The engine has been rebuilt. bored to plus 30 thou. fitted with fast road camshaft. head skimmed to give 10:1 compression. fitted with big valves. and finished with 2 x 1. 5" SU carbs & extractor exhaust.   Engine tested at 60+ BHP and with weight reduced to 13 cwt. power to weight is roughly 100 per ton producing rapid performance by comparison with contemporaries.
"Extras" include electric fan. moto-lita steering wheel. air horns. tonneau cover. luggage rack. reversing light. rev counter. temperature gauge. leather seats. passenger seat belt. carpets. windscreen with wipers (but no doors. heater or roof !)
Great fun runabout attracting much interest and as previously featured in MG magazines. with under 3000 miles since rebuild. Comes complete with full build details. wiring diagram. original reg. no. . V5 and green log book.
Car also advertised elsewhere and cheap starting price but still expecting rather more. not so much to reflect the many hours work involved but the value created; I am only reluctantly selling to make room for the next project.
